This week I thought I'd start the new year podcasts with an episode about Lough Corrib. Will be of interest to those wanting to fish it and those who like myself have a passion for this special place. I talk about how it all come about for me, the flies I have had success with over the years, mayfly time, favourite areas plus the time I took a 7lb brown off the shore.
This weeks episode is part two of my chat with Emyr Lewis. I met him at his home in Llanbrynmair back in November where he tells us tales of his experiences over the years as a river bailiff. Close encounters with poachers and some hillarious stories.
This week I chat once more with Galway angler, guide and good friend Colin Folan. This week Ceri visits Llyn Fawr reservoir, his local water in South Wales. He fishes for the quality rainbows at evening time and sets up with dries to catch them as they come into the shallows to feed at last light. Ceri talks through his tactics plus goes on to tell of the history of this picturesque lake which dates back to the iron age.
