This week’s episode I chat with Martha Leeming. Born in Colombia, lived in England and now lives in Alberta, Canada. She is a passionate competition angler with many English caps and achievements to her name. While in England she worked for Orvis and was also involved with Casting for Recovery. She is a very skilful and experienced angler but very modest with it. She now enjoys competing on the international scene representing the Canadian Women’s World Team.

This week I take you around the bays and drifts at Chew Valley lake and the areas which have brought me success over the years. Hatches to look out for this spring plus methods and flies which have been my go to choices. For years this top water has great facilities and quality fish. Even though it gets most of its publicity nowadays with its huge pike it still is one of the leading trout lakes in the country.

Hi guys, I've had a few requests lately from new patrons of the channel asking for more ferox content. So this week's episode I tell the story of a special day back in 2006 where I get 5 ferox in one day up to 12lb while fishing Corrib. Plus at the end of the day as nightime came I had an unexpected take. Day's like this don't come around that often.

This week I travelled up to the Cotswolds to chat with Tim Small at Lechlade and Bushyleaze. Tim opened its doors to the public over 50 years ago and today Lechlade is known as one of the leading big fish waters in the country. He talks of how it all started back in the mid 70s and tells of what goes on behind the scenes and how things have changed, especially the fishing season due to global warming.

Hi Guys, this week I chat with Nick Warren. He has a passion for the large sea trout of the Rio Grande, Argentina. He has fished there for the last 18 years with his biggest to date topping the scales at 28lb. He is from Bristol but travels with his work all over the world as an international DJ and Producer. Some of you will know him from the dance music scene of the 90's when together with Jody Wisternoff formed Way Out West. He talks of how music and fishing play a big part in his life even as a young boy fishing small rivers at his home in Dorset and spending all his spare money on records.

Must have flies I couldnt go without, I tell when to fish them, how to fish them and why they are so successful. All variants of known patterns with my own twist. Flies include 4 dries, 3 wets and 3 heavyweight nymphs.
This weeks episode I head up to Elan Valley for the last weekend of the season. High water with flooded banks proved difficult conditions but moving around and a change of tactics produced some nice fish. The ultimate wild fishery and a perfect place to sign off the season. I also tell of the history of how the dams came about with the loss of a community which were moved out to build dams to supply water to Birmingham. Cofiwch Cwn Elan!

This weeks guest has been one of the countries most successful competition anglers, both in rivers and lough style. Has been top Lexus Individual as well as representing Wales at International level gaining no fewer than 19 caps. In 2016 he gave up his UK competition scene and moved to New Zealand to start a new life with his wife Lisa, who is also a Welsh fly-fishing international. Ceri calls him at his South Island home where Dean tells us about his new experiences and what New Zealand has to offer.
