He now lives in Arkensas and spends most of his time guiding on the White River. We talk of the early days back in the 70's fishing the reservoirs, his love of loughstyle fishing and all things flytying.

This week's episode I took a stroll along the spawning streams around Lough Arrow with Colin Dodd. He shows me the work that the club, together with the IFI have been doing to help the spawing of Arrow's wild trout. This week's episode I chat with Irish angler Glenda Powell. Originally from Northern Ireland but now lives in Waterford and is a guide on the River Blackwater. She also runs hosted trips to Iceland, Greenland and Patagonia. She is a qualified APGAI Ireland casting instructor and is often seen demonstrating he skills at Fly-fishing Shows around the world. She has an amazing story of how she got into making a living from her passion of fly-fishing.

This week I had the privilege to travel to meet James Cosmo at his home in Surrey to record our chat. He is a proud Scotsman and been a professional actor spanning 60 years. As well as an extensive television career he has appeared in over 130 Hollywood films. He has a love of fishing, especially trout, so whenever he has a chance he likes nothing more than to cast a fly on the river. We also chat about his new venture, 'Storyman' his very own blend of whisky.

This week I travelled up to the Cotswolds to chat with Tim Small at Lechlade and Bushyleaze. Tim opened its doors to the public over 50 years ago and today Lechlade is known as one of the leading big fish waters in the country. He talks of how it all started back in the mid 70s and tells of what goes on behind the scenes and how things have changed, especially the fishing season due to global warming.

This week’s episode I chat with one of Ireland’s most successful Ladies International anglers, Linda Straghan. She has 11 caps and 2 Brown Bowls to her name. She tells us how she started fishing and gives advice to women wanting to get into the sport and her top flies which has brought her so much success on the competition scene. She also goes on to say how fly-fishing has helped her through cancer, a truly inspirational woman.
