This week's podcast episode I headed over to Oughterard, Co Galway to chat with John Gibbons at the oldest salmonid hatchery in the world, on the Owenriff River. We chatted about how it all come about and the fantastic work the Lough Corrib Angling Federation do, who are committed to the maintenance and development of the spawning and nursery areas of the Corrib catchment.
John also goes on to talk of his concerns he has for the future of the lake. plus tells us stories of his passion for Ferox.
A great listen, enjoy!
